I love my boyfriend but hate his family?

I've been with my boyfriend for five years and I love him to death. The only problem is that I HATE, HATE his family. They are the biggest white-trash, low-life drunks I have ever met. Seeing them makes my skin crawl, especially the dad. The dad will constantly bother my boyfriend for a ride or two dollars, anything because he can't take care of himself and still lives with his mother (my boyfriend's grandmother). I don't want these people in my life but I really do love my boyfriend. He's nothing like them. But he keeps giving in to his dad when his dad wants something because he just doesn't stop asking. I'm truly scared that it's gonna get to the point that when my boyfriend and i get married he's gonna move in with us. I don't even want a real wedding because I don't want his family there. I don't want them to associate with my family because honestly I'm embarrassed. I would never be able to trust his dad around our kids if we ever had them. Can a relationship sustain with me feeling like this? What should I do?

well, that is indeed a problem.. it may even come to a point where your bf would have to choose between you and his family..

have you tried talking to your boyfriend? i think it would be easier if both of you would deal with this issue. You have to be open to your boyfriend so that he knows what you are feeling and so that he could help you with your problem with his family..
